Found another Mod 60 at a local pawn shop it is old but in good shape needs a good cleaning.
Priced at 99$. He said he would come down a little if he still has it next week.I like the old mod 60

Thats the same price I see them go for used around here all the time. Every now and the they are cheap or a little more but thats the average price. They are great rifles!

I know I had one for a long time and gave it to my son, and now I miss the heck out of it.
Great shooting little gun.

If it's in good shape get it.

For $100 or less if you can talk him down, why would you not get it? Not too long ago I fixed up my little Marlin/Glenfield Model 60. I had forgotten how much fun it is to shoot. :D

For that price I'd say buy it. I have a Glenfield Model 60 and the wife bought a Marlin 795 recently, both were around the $100/110 mark. Buy an updated spare buffer and recoil spring from Numrich to tune it up and blast away

If you want a truly old Marlin Model 60, find the Model 99, the Model 60's father. I have yet to find another or even see one for sale.
