I was at the store the other day and the Aks were 1500 and the Ars were 2500. 500 ish is the old price. I am not too familiar with them but if it is not a wasr and is 500 then it should be good. If it is a wasr 10 then check fit and function and the price is not going down so ok there. AS far as i know.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

I believe these(the receivers) were made here in the states from Romanian parts kits. Built quality can vary slightly, some even have new Green Mountain barrels installed. On the plus side, it is an AK, if it has no mag wobble and the front sight is not canted, for that price today, everything else is fixable
I said I was an addict. I didn't say I had a problem.
Thanks guy's! I have it on hold and will pick it next week sometime, it's not quite the Polish underfolder I was fancying, but it is alot more affordable.
My dealer just got in some ammunition for it today, but I don't know the price yet.

Holy shit, they can keep them, my Maddi was less than $200, and the stuff I traded for it cost me less even than that back in the late 80's.

520 isn't bad but you best get on it soon because it's gonna go POOF if you wait too long. Even with mag wobble it's still a good deal, mag wobble will not effect the function of the rifle provided it's not to extreme. When you have a loaded mag in the gun you'll probably hardly even notice. But like Greasemonkey said the canted sights can be a problem. I've seen some with canted sights shoot just fine but then I've seen a couple that needed their front sight drifted all the way over just to get on paper. Get the gun and try to snag some mags.

I think I like the steel mags, but since I got a deal on some Tapco's (30 rds) for $5.00 each I picked up a few.
