I've been a little behind in posting pictures lately. My first SKS.

I think I need to resize my photo's. Oh well. You get the idea. It's a nice refurb that was listed at a fair price. I don't believe it has been fired since refurbishment. If it has, kudos to whoever previously owned it.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Very clean one, and a Tula for the namesake - to boot!
No words of wisdom come to mind at this time....

BBQ paint is durable, but just racking the bolt will make some little scuffs on the rails. Your rifle looks to have been vaccuum packed or something! Sure looks to me like it went home and into the safe, end of story. Very sweet black bolt!

Lovely piece. Really appreciate the amount of care you take (the gloves) when handling your rifle.

Those are known among mechanics as butt inspection gloves , used to avoid contaminating the skin with possible carcinogenic oils and greases as well as other substances. A good idea.

:)
Nitrile gloves I pick up from a local grocery store chain in 100 count boxes. I go through them pretty quick. Like patches, I should order them in bulk.
