Try these. You'll have to wait until after the holidays to call them.bigbronco96 wrote:Need a Magazine Retainer Spring, Rear for stevens model 85 looked for hours online with no luck![]()

I don't know the serial number of your rifle so it's stopping me but you could try here too.

One thing I found also is it appears this spring is the same as the 57, 850 and some other models so that may expand your choices. Look in the description of what it fits here. http://www.gunpartscorp.com/Products/106540F.htm

Thanks guess i will be calling jackfirstgun. If the serial # is stamped in front of the patent # then its to old to look up on savage web page.

Pics of this rifle ?
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

That looks great, so many designs for the .22 rifle, sometimes they seem endless, I love the lightening cuts out of the side of the receiver.

The girls at JackFirst are good and may have it. I put my Model 64 in the Savage site and it came up with clickable schematic but my 311 didn't which is way older. I'll keep looking and if I come across anything I'll let you know.bigbronco96 wrote:Thanks guess i will be calling jackfirstgun.
