There are dies and brass around. Ammo is the standard 20 bucks for 20 rds for all of these save the m95 ammo which costs more. I even have to pay close to 20 for 20 of 54R around here. :D

You're going to be surprised when you shoot this rifle. :)

Nothing like an m44 or m38. Merry Christmas!

For ammo, though I cannot recall the price, try SGAmmo. They stock 6.5 Japanese ammo. Also, if stripper clips are needed for 6.5 or 7.7 Japanese
I would buy these. Cheap and always work. The Japanese and Swedish Mausers have the same cuts for these clips. I use them all the time for 7.7 Jap. They are same clip design and better quality.

A buck a round for Mosin fodder???? That's a bit high even for today, for that price why aren't you just mail ordering a spam can or two? It would be way cheaper in the long haul.

That explains the buck a pop, surplus is less than half that, I thought someone must be ripping you off.

Ya i wish! and it was 4 large +2 medium. Unfortunately that was my friend that has more money then he knows what to do with. I am not sure how that feels anymore. Back in the reagan days i had that though. But had kids and an alcoholic wife. Kept the kids and dumped the wife. I am a $123.45 kind of bidder all once every 2 months these days. I tried to spend 300+ for over a month on GB with no luck so i lowered my bids till i got this carbine. Have been after a jap for a few months with no luck till now.

"Have been after a jap for a few months with no luck till now"

They prefer "Japanese" they know that jujitsu crap so watch out, took you a whole month to find the guy? What he do, steal your morning paper once to often? Bury him deep.

   I don' t read the toilet paper here. I don't even buy it. It is already used and has shit printed all over it. If the jap had run i would just wait till he got in the car and wrecked and i could catch him then. J/K of course.

Very cool, des! I would have paid that price in a second if I ran across one of those out here. I've bought a few different milsurps lately and my New Years resolution is to get the camera out and take some pics and get them up on the site. One in particular that I'm looking forward to some feedback on. No Japanese rifles yet, but I'm looking. :vcool:

I may have to start up on gunbroker. Everything has dried up here now, all my normal places are all ARs. I still haven't broken down my type 38 I got a while back. Guess that will give me something to do.
