Resigning as Admin/Mod

Post by klibben »

I just wanted to let you all know that effective immediately I am resigning as an administrator and moderator from this forum. Therefore if you have any issues with the site, spam, etc. please no longer direct your PMs towards me as I will not have the ability to help - you can direct them to any of the other mods and I'm confident they will be able to successfully handle any issues you may have.

I hope to remain a general member of the site and still participate in discussions - if anything my resignation should give me more time to participate, although my work schedule has been hectic so my visits my be sporadic.

I only wanted to give you all a heads up so you can contact the correct person if a situation arises.

Thanks,
Kenny

OK kenny, I know it's a lot of time consuming work, I look forward to seeing you around the board when you have time.

Thanks guys, although I admit I didn't spend nearly as much time as most of the admins, they are a hard working group!

Thanks for your time and effort Kenny.
“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Never got a chance to chat with you. I hope things go well for you and that we get to see you around here when you can make it.

Thanks for helping the others get this forum off the ground...its interesting, informative and well-organized. Most of all, its packed with some of the best people I have ever had a chance to chat and discuss any topic with. To top it off, we're talking about amazing weapons full of history!

Hope to see you around...

Hate to see you step down but I'm very glad you'll still be around. I know how it is, busy with work & life & not enough quality time to spend here. You feel obligated at times to be here to make sure things run smooth. Between Extra hours at work, busy things going on around the homefront I too have found it hard to dedicate time here lately. When we did the change over to the new place with Dolk as our new Fearless leader I spent a lot of time trying to do what I could to guarantee a successful transition. I'm amazed to see lots of new members every time I turn around & am impressed with the success of the new forum. Hat's off to you Kenny for your efforts... You were an integral part of the transition & your efforts are not forgotten. :vcool: :vcool:

And hat's off to everyone else as well. The accomplishments of this forum have far exceeded anything I ever hoped it would become. Great job everyone... And thank you Darryl, for taking on the head honcho position. This place is great! 8-) 8-)

Wishing the best for you moving forward, Kenny. And thanks for the time you did spend in the start up of this forum.

I truly have never seen a forum take off as quickly as this one, and the hard work of Admin and the Mods is reflected in the results.
No words of wisdom come to mind at this time....
