Pu sniper 100 yards

Post by jeremyb »

Took the sniper out today and ran some rounds through it. Here is a 100 yard target. At 50 yards its fun too but too easy. Want to try hitting a quarter if I can remember some tape. Lol

Lots of fun.

The bullseye is about 3" high. Give or take.

Thats some good shooting, I'd be happy with that. What ammo were you using?

Not bad at all :)
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

With that accuracy how much difference do you find barrel heat making? Is there a sweet spot (5 rounds, 10?)

Seams perfect from the 1st shot. U should see a 50 yard target. I'd like to see what a true professional could do with it.

Shoot ten and let it cool otherwise the heat off the barrel could force the oils in the wood to come out taking the shellac finish with it off the forend and handguard.
