Another 91/30, I can't seem to stop

Post by jdolinski »

Picked up another 91/30, it is a 1930 tula hex receiver. I took some pictures of some things I did not notice on the other rifles I have. still have more cleaning to do. does not appear to be counter-bored. the stock is in great shape and the metal looks very dark and in fine shape. Any info would be appreciated.

I like the quality of the receiver stamp and low serial.

I like it. . Looking at the 2nd pic. , the rear sight doesn't seem to have a gap. Looks like you have a 1930 91/30 instead of a updated dragoon.

What picture are you getting a look at the rear sight base in? I don't see it in any of these pictures.

It's the picture looking at the recvr/chamber with the rear sight in front. It's a little blurry

I Can't STOP!!!

Post by Ironnewt »

I just got one of Palmetto State Armory's week end specials for $105 delivered. I need a new vault for the 91/30's alone :big shock: :big shock: :big shock:
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!

Nice photo. I never noticed a cross-hatch pattern on the back of a sight base before

Another fine 91/30. I love these. I know that some folks pass up the refurbished rifles, but we sure are lucky that so many refurbs were imported. They are what makes Mosinitis a legit disease!8-):P
