1943 Tula Needs a stock

Post by ptf18 »

Ive got a 1943 Tula barreled action that was given to me. I need a stock for it. I understand the war year stocks featured sling collar slots that onlly had a liner on the bottom of the slot.... or no liner at all. Is this what I need to be on the look out for? I assume the war years for the Russians were 1941-1945.

Click on the banner at the top of the page, Liberty Tree Collectors, they have 91/30 stocks , several styles I think. If you order let them know you are a forum member.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

That stock is a late to post war stock. Liberty Tree has stock sets for for $49 plus shipping and you'd be supporting a forum sponsor. https://www.libertytreecollectors.com/p ... ategory=17

If you call CL (the owner) and tell him what you're looking for and he'll be more than helpful. Tell him you're from the forum 207-285-3111
