I will be reloading my ammunition probably little after christmas and will show groupings from my izhevsk (They might not be the at most accurate since I use hoppes #9 and it eats the copper) so the copper won't make a nice path for the bullet.

The copper shouldn't need to make a nice path for the bullet, that's what the rifling is for. All you need do is fire a fouling shot or two before settling down to fire for effect unless the bore is in nasty shape, or you are using undersized bullets.

Well have you ever noticed that when you shoot 50 rounds that copper fills the in imperfections and tightens your groupings, because with me my izhevsk goes from a 4 to 3 sometimes 2.5 moa Why do you think competition shooters use non copper cleaning solvents

I get around that problem by only using my best shooting rifles for shooting, mostly M39's and other Finn Mosins, ammo is too expensive to waste. These rifles have spotless bores with like new rifling :) I have known .22 rifle competition shooters who swore by never cleaning their bores, but I have never known a high power competition shooter who did that. These guys tend to shoot high end commercial purpose built target rifles, the idea of worn rifling or pits in a bore would horrify them and probably make their heads explode.

High power match shooters do clean in moderation, and with the greatest of care, they know that you can ruin a bore faster by improper cleaning than by shooting it for a lifetime.

I didn't realize competition shooters did that.

I have talked to some who never cleaned the copper out there barrel for 8 months more. Only time they do is when there is TO much copper.

Copper will degrade accuracy as it builds up, but it will not harm the rifle.
