AR15
AR15
Thought I would join the fun. I built this one as I collected parts. It has an FN barrel, I think an Olympic arms upper, and everything else DPMS.

“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Re: AR15
Very nice.
A Veteran-whether active duty or retired-is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount of "up to and including my life". That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

Thanks. That is what I was going for.Ban-One wrote:I like that classic look!

Good advice. If you are not in a hurry, you can build one relatively cheaply, as you find deals on parts.Izhevsk762 wrote:Buy a stripped lower, and build one.deoxys987 wrote:I wish i could own an AR15 as nice as yours, but living in california i have i have all kinds of restrictions that make buying one dfficultmillman wrote:Thought I would join the fun. M7, nice. I've got one that I use as sort of a general purpose knife when I camping, since someone decided it would be a good idea to weld the back of it shut

Re: AR15
Check with Dolk but as I understand it you can 'de-California' one rather easily.
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!

Nice job

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
