Some .22's.

Frog legs DO taste like chicken.
“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
C. S. Lewis

Frogs legs, things with tentacles, bugs, human flesh, all tastes like chicken. I am gonna have to haul out the dictionary and see if there is a picture of a chicken under the word shit
I couldn't resist.

Very cool! Its rare that I find anyone else that has one of these rifles. I picked this one up cheap and it was filthy. Some people just don't respect things. It's missing the original rear sight, someone fitted it with a scope. Mine has seen a little more wear than yours but still shoots pretty good. I have been meaning to order a set of springs for it while the Erma parts are still available.bunkysdad wrote:Here is a interesting 22. It's a Erma Werke Mfg'd Iver Johnson 22 M1 carbine. My brother came across it but was missing a mag and the ever elusive rear aperture sight. The missing parts were found, and I think a replacement mag cost what he paid for the carbine. My camera skills really stunk that day.

Isn't that the truth, you should see the disgusting condition a lot of the .22's I haul home from the shows are in. Takes me days to clean them.

Re: Some .22's.
Here two more I have. The first is my Savage in .22 WMR. That accutrigger makes it a true tack driver. My favorite .22.

The next is the old Ruger 10/22 which everyone seems to have. I had a hard time acquioring a good sight picture so modified it with Techsights. The military style sights makes it a breeze for quick target acquisition but yet, the trigger pull. Now with a Timney trigger. Not as good a tack driver as the Savage but way better than it used to be.

and as seen in another thread the H&R model 700 in .22 magnum

and a Ruger Mark III but no photo at this time.

I think .22's are fun to shoot. Maybe they don't kick or make a big boom or a huge flash, but they are dead on and can still do some damage.

I have maybe 10,000 rounds through my Marlin 60, probably more.

You guys are killing me. I won an auction (and paid and delivered my FFL) for a nice little Stevens last Tuesday and the seller just shipped today! Now I'll have to wait until next Monday for delivery.
