New Ruger 10/22 in stainless
Re: New Ruger 10/22 in stainless
Don't be making comments about girls and shooting before you shoot against some that can. There is a Bullseye team sponsored by Les Baer and those ladies can shoot.
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!

As far as "must have" changes, I replaced the bolt release with an "automatic" bolt release. The part is cheap and it eliminates the fiddling around with both hands to release the bolt. The change takes about 15 minutes and there are plenty of YouTube videos on how to do it. I am very happy with the change.
My son then wanted the same change on his. I am sure either of us would make the same change on any other 10/22 that came into our possession.
I suspect this is the single most popular change that people make to the 10/22.

I made the auto bolt release by filing the opening in the metal hold open lever. Works great.
Longcolt, those sights look sweet!

That works too. Now that I have a couple spares, I'm inclined to do that for any future 10/22s. That way I can just pop in the new one instead of having the rifle apart while I fiddle around with the mod.bunkysdad wrote:I made the auto bolt release by filing the opening in the metal hold open lever.
