Especially you JYD with all of your videos and such. Just curious as to most of you and the extent of your collections.

If I get another Mosin it will likely be an M39. I really don't desire any of the 91 family of Mosins as I am primarily a "Carbine" man.

I have Eight , four round receiver 91-30's one Hex 91-30 ,Two Chinese T53's and one Russian M44. OH, and one Nagant Pistol, also love my AK's and SKS's . I have over two dozen foreign guns since I got my C&R. The wife had to have emergency eye surgery last month so no more nothing for quite awhile. Maybe some 22 bullets just to keep my hand from shaking.

A lot more than most and a few shy of JYD's. M91s, M91 Finns, M27, 91/30s, 91/59, M38s and M44s. Then there are the M39's,

Most serious collectors really don't want to discuss specific numbers on the world wide web. Some folks would have to go to their books to see how many they owned. (yep, that many) I am not one of them, but I would like to be one day. :D

Thanks, I haven't been at this long but I've been very lucky. What I have changes all the time, and I've found some great deals lately. There are some that have moved on that I wish I had back. I do a lot of horse trading.

racerguy00, has the right Idea.

"Collectors" wouldn't let quantity override quality, "how many" really doesn't matter.

Some people collect what they can afford at the time and trade up as they can or as space becomes an issue, I have given up three or four rifles to get one that I "had to have" and solved two problems at once! :bwink:

I also sometimes wish I had one back but when I remember what I traded for, I miss them less! :D

Hmm, let me count here;
1942 Izhevsk 91/30
1944 Izhevsk ex sniper
1967 M39
1895 Tula m91
1944 M39
1918 Remington M91
1915 NEW M91

I think that's it. I am not worried about my 19th century obsolete rifles being on the web. It's my crates of full auto AK47s I get from the mexican drug cartels burried under my neighbor's deck that I worry about. Ooops :big shock:
