This is my 1944 Izhevsk M44. No numbers lined out, no electropencil numbers matching without prefixes. It does have an M38 style hand-guard with brass endcaps. All the parts that are marked are marked with the Izhevsk Arsenal triangle. Tang date on the receiver is 1944 also. It is counter-bored, the bore is like a mirror & the bolt operates very smoothly.
Passed head-space check thanks to Okie No Go Gauge, firing pin protrusion is spot on so shes ready to go to the range.
