My son used a M39 on a big pig about a month ago .Ammo used was S&B 182 grain soft point if I remember correctly. Dropped it real quick.

That is a Finnish replacement stock .I would leave it alone.

Nice rifle! I think that one has some history to it.

Have you checked the action screws to make sure they are tight? If they aren`t it will cause a Mosin to shoot all over the place and they can loosen up while shooting.

The ZM was most likely added by the importer as part of the serial number .I have seen similar translations of Russian serial numbers. I am pretty sure there is what looks like a backwards 3 in the Russian alphabet , I am guessing translates to z in ours.

No SA mark for the carbine. Seller had it marked as 7.35 ,I had questioned him on it .His reply was it looks too big to be 6mm.
