Yes either that or 4! I want to be able to keep my magazine loaded and just not have one in the chamber so I don't have to mess with the safety on it

Re: Restrictive State Gun Owners

$350??? Its been a while, but I think that when I got my permit, it cost me about $160 for the class and the permit. Arizona only charges $60 for the initial permit and $43 for renewal. Biggest hassle is that the Arizona Department of Public Safety will only accept bank checks or money order...

Re: Gun Shows in New England!

Hey guys, So I was thinking about it, seeing as I have never gone to a gun show. Can I actually purchase any fire arms being out of state? Either Handguns or Long Guns and ammo as well, or would I be SOL and pretty much a waste of my time. I plan on buying at least one firearm so I really need to kn...

Re: Taking a poll!

When I first saw a 91/30 in a Cabela's sales ad, I thought they must have been junk because they were so cheap. I couldn't decide if I liked them. On one hand, they looked like cool, old guns. On the other, the forend looked too long and skinny. I eventually had to order one after Sandy Hook--there...

Re: Gun Shows in New England!

Thanks so much for the replies, It kind of sucks I have to drive through all theses very restrictive states and then back to my restrictive state as well, CT doesn't let us normal tax paying citizens to own anything fun without paying ridiculous prices, I hate it! I will try to keep my composure in ...

Re: Restrictive State Gun Owners

Connecticut is a crappy state for gun owners for sure! You know for self-defense we are supposed to try to retreat in our home before use of deadly force which I think is really stupid! Like obviously you would be able to tell a threat and if they are threatening your life, so I guess I meet the int...

Re: Restrictive State Gun Owners

Pretty much anything goes here in KY. I once bought a Swedish Mauser, ammo, a pack of cigarettes, a sandwich, bag of chips, a Coke and a case of beer at the same store with one swipe of the credit card. We can have machine guns too, with the proper federal paperwork. We have shall issue CCW as well...

Restrictive State Gun Owners

Re: Taking a poll!

Mosins are definitely good looking and have a lot of history behind it makes it even more interesting! Were the Russian ones made with different types of wood? Mine is a 1928 Izhevsk and it is a dark colored wood, I see some other mosins that are a light color wood, anyone knows?
