Well, I'm not a banker anymore. Now I'm involved in the plumbing business. My advice is to steer clear of Rheem if you end up having to replace. Rheem has had a serious problem with their gas valves recently and we have replaced under warranty at least 70 in the last 3 months. What SA1911a says is t...

I'm very sorry for your loss! It is a serious and dangerous virus. I'll say a prayer for peace for you and his family.

Unfortunately, I know about dead body smell. In the late 60's I worked for a company that retrieved airplanes that crashed. I worked in the water retrieval unit. The bad part of the job was if there were bodies in the plane they had to be taken out before we could raise the plane. Fortunately, ther...

My grandparents, who are 94 and 89, recently had their second dose of the Pfizer vaccine and had no negative reactions at all.

Banks have big losses due to this type of fraud so they have invested in systems that are pretty darn good at detecting and blocking fraudulent transactions. VISA and MasterCard require in their contracts with the bank the the bank follow their Zero Liability policy for customers, so that means the ...

I plan on scrapping the old gas grill & getting one of those flattop Blackstone grills. I wanna cook eggs, bacon & hashbrowns on the grill! Blackstone Gas Grill.jpg You will love the Blackstone! They are excellent to cook on! Just treat it like a giant cast iron skillet. It would...

Really the risk of spread for spectators is quite low. A slight breeze moves so much air it just isn't likely to get enough virus into you from someone else to become infected. Also, if tens of thousands can gather to protest and riot surely some people can gather to watch football. “I can tell you ...
Sounds like your government and people have done what they needed to do to flatten the curve. Unfortunately here in the US, we have not done well from the start due to a variety of reasons, some related to the way our government handled things, but more so because our people refused to take...

I was listening to Michael Savage talk about the riots and he made a good point. These riots don't usually extend into the suburbs because suburban people are armed and willing to use weapons to defend their property and lives. If the police don't control it before these rioters arrive in the suburb...

Beautiful knives!! Great work!

That is wild!! I guess I understand the crazed gun and ammo purchases even less than I understand the TP mania!

Very nice!! So that is what they look like without decades of abuse! I had to scrape the spray paint over-spray off mine after decades of being in my great-grandfathers barn and then my grandfathers barn.

It's great fun! I searched for blemished parts and was able to afford better parts for the nearly the same money. The struggled to find the blemishes!

Very nice! That looks great! I hate the light wood the WASR comes with. I put Russian plum furniture on mine. I sold it and bought a VEPR...I actually like the WASR better.

South American Mausers don't get the respect they deserve; they are the Rodney Dangerfield of Mausers. It is like folks think that they were hammered out of bean cans in a blacksmith's shop in Tijuana.
hahahahahaha it is true! People have mental pictures of Khyber Pass guns when they hear S...

That is a beautiful clock! It is always rewarding to take something that has been neglected and isn't working and return it to function.

Great stuff all around!

It is risky to collect anything that is actually worth decent money without being a complete expert or as JYD said, buying it from the elderly veteran. I was talking to an antique store owner/ collector of everything ( I was hunting fountain pens) and he said the most vicious collectors are doll col...

That is very cool! Amazing that it is still on the rifle.
