I have a 1943 pu sniper. The cyrillic letters are on all parts. Does this mean that these are the original bolt, etc? From what i know, when mosins are refurbed, and restamped, the cyrillic letters werent added. My number is hr 7868. And would regular mosins have these letters? Or would the snipers ...

I just got a sniper from Rguns. 1943 Izhevsk all matching numbers. The only concern was my barrel does not have the scope number stamped in it. I have read that some were scrubbed. And the bluing is gone in that spot.

Hey guys. Just got my first pu sniper. Mine does not have scope numbers stamped on the barrel. Looks like they may have been scrubbed. It is a1943 Izhevsk. Is this common? Thanks!
