Re: Classic just dropped the bomb.

Me neither, I rarely buy today and only when I stumble across something selling to cheap to ignore. I am way to cheap to pay todays prices after having got used to yesterdays. Burns is the supply and they drive the price, or did, neither does any more, now collectors are driving the price. What wil...

Re: Stale popcorn . . . Part III Starts this Monday

To bad some of us weren't even a twinkle in an eye when you could "stock up" on a fine collection of rifles for what I've ended up paying for my first two mosins. :furious: I bought my first M39 about five years ago, I doubt you are that young. I was 19 five years ago, and had no means to...

Re: Stale popcorn . . . Part III Starts this Monday

Seriously? Yeah seriously. Not all of us are in your little clique. So I take it you guys don't think these are worth buying? Why? They are worth buying, they aren't making any more of them. Most folks are making fun of the hype ( there will be no more ) and the panic the hype caused ( I better buy...

Re: Stale popcorn . . . Part III Starts this Monday

10 mins until the sale starts, for 'scientific purposes' I will be watching the store page and see how fast they sell out. I was pretty happy with my 91/30 purchase from classic, but this fiasco has me a little put off from making another purchase from them. Not to mention a local at the WAC [Washin...

My Izhevsk M44

This is technically my second firearm purchase, although I was in possession of it before the 91/30 I purchased, because I got this one at a local gun show. My 91/30 came in the mail. Photobucket album of my M44 here There is one part of the stock that has some sort of damage, not sure from when, wh...

Re: Is this a Russian Imperial Eagle?

Ha! I suspected as much, I'm absolutely thrilled to have lucked out and gotten such great rifle with so much history! It happens to have all matching serials, even on the bayonet, and head spacing passed the go gauge.
Thanks for the quick reply!

Is this a Russian Imperial Eagle?

I recently decided to purchased my first firearm, for years I had planned on getting a military surplus rifle, a bolt action, and I knew mosins were the most affordable option. I happened to come across a site which recently posted about their new shipment, and discovered they still had on offer a h...
