The Russian Mosin Nagant Forum

Sorry, it is too different for most to know anything about. You have not posted import marks so we can see if the rifle is real or not. The scope and mount are real. Very different and unusual. Rare??? .....perhaps. That is why it is not selling either. Once someone figures out it is "real&quo...

Where are all the sniper guy's, Iv'e yet to get a single comment pro or con regarding this rifle??? Man" bad, good or ugly. I can't believe there are no comments regarding this rifle. What's happened to this forum that every one is so silent. I not only wish to sell the gun but I'm interested ...

Hey Guy's I just posted one of my rifles for sale. Detail on For Sale area of this forum. For pictures please email me Pete1641@aol.com

Iv'e been told there isn't much left anywhere to import anymore. There was some antisipation from South Korea, they supposedly have thousends of M1 Carbines and M1 Garands in storage. It is said that they were going to be coming in to the U.S but that that importation was stopped by the Obama people...

Iv's read some posts here concerning Samco Global, As we all know by now they are for all intents and purposes out of business. They are located here in Miami and I used to go by occasionally and was allowed several times to walk in the warehouse and look around. Throughout the years I was able to b...

Hey Congratulations on your latest acquisition!, looks real nice. I myself picked up one of these 91/30 snipers, they are a lot of fun to shot. Be glad you got it now as they are drying up and I'm sure the price will be going up. So have fun.....

What kind of showroom do they have? Is it like a gun shop or more of a storage warehouse type of setup? What about ammo? They have some nice ammo on their website sometimes and I always wondered about how much quantity they had. Samco does not have a show room, and they do not cater to walk in cust...

I know what you mean by "no interest"" because they have never interested me! Having said that, I remember when I could have said the same thing about Jap Arisaka's, I remember when you could buy one for $50-$100 and I'm talking a complete nice rifle with mum and aircraft sights, some...

Nice group, I too am a wood man and the Swiss used some fine furniture for their rifles......

I believe the total number of Argentine Mausers is probably about 25 rifles, they all looked well used and there were several mismatched stocked rifles in the bunch. My friend is more into the markings then condition, I'm more interested in condition so I was not interested in these rifles. They hav...

I was the first to answer a local online classified for a "WWII matching Mauser, non-import. $500. " Aside from the missing cleaning rod and barrel band spring, I couldn't glean much more information from the seller over the phone. I met with him today, and discovered immediately that it ...

I was going to post what would amount to a large article recounting what I observed in the stock room at Samco. I've decided not to post such a large writing because I don't know if there is anyone who cares about this. So I will give a small rundown of what I saw and handled there: They still have ...

I almost pulled the trigger on a James River but I found a local dealer that had a bunch of Arsenal SAM 7r's and they had a great price on them. I shot the gun yesterday and they do shoot as well as everybody say they do. the only thing I don't like about the Arsenal that I like on the James River i...

I too just bought my first 91/30 PU sniper for the same reason you are suggesting (Good investment) I believe it will gain in value as time go's on because they are drying up, The people I got mine from (Samco) told me there are no more overseas to be had. The old law of supply and demand. The quest...

You know that is exactly why I have stayed away from buying one of these 91/30 sniper rifles, till now of corse. Thanks I will check these out...

Hello all, I need your help! what would be the best book on this subject?? For the longest time I stayed away from buying one of these guns because of the ongoing controversy of what is real and what is not. I finally broke down last Friday and got one from Samco (Tula) I posted earlier this week en...
