Hello everyone! I went out and did some shooting with my 1955 T-53 and noticed that after I would fire and pull the bolt to the rear the bolt would occasionally slide out of the rifle. I've also seen mixed reviews of the heritage, the price tag sure is convincing!

Anyone know of any good, but cheap .22 pistols? I've heard mixed reviews about the S&W 22a, and I've heard great reviews about the Ruger MK III, and the 22/45. The Smith is about $100 cheaper than the Ruger.

Took a look at gun broker today, I noticed there were a lot of beat up t-53s for under $200. Just thought I'd let everyone know.

Went to the local range today, took out my 1944 izhevsk 91/30 and the .22.

I've seen this a few times from my 1955 chinese type 53, I think you're ok!

I like the old 1955 type 53, it's always fun to shoot

When I bought my first 91/30 I took the bolt apart to clean and soon realized the threads were broken. Luckily I was able to get it fixed with a thread chaser. Glad to see you got yours all fixed up!!!

Who's got em and what are they ? A rifle that you know from a bench rest, you can put 3 shots in the X ring at 100 yd. I have 3 I'm sure of, 1. M-44 Russian '44 Izhevsk. Molot 2. I've always been a fan of the carbines, to me they're a lot more fun to shoot! I always enjoy seeing the fireball!

My 1944 91/30 has the brass, I've definately run across way more of the black painted caps. What year is your rifle?
