Support the little tab for the trigger guard when you install the roll pin for the guard itself, they break. Get a good set of roll pin punches, there invaluable . Especially the roll pin for the bolt release.

Was it a legit A3 or something put together using investment cast receiver and leftover Remington military contract parts? I spot these every now and then, mostly with '03 type receivers, junk. After both wars there were huge quantities of leftover parts from the weapons contracts that ended up bei...

Is that a cork but plate or is it just applied to the metal ? I heard they have a caliber minimum for moose up there . I think it`s 8.3mm , don`t hold me to it.

A German national with a thirst for collecting SS paraphernalia and willing to pay serious money for it......I strongly suspect we would not get along, especially after I shot him in the head just on spec. We didn't get all the Nazi's over there, some survived and created new generations. Never, ne...

Up by lake Otisco, the finger lakes ? Wait till crazy Andy hears about this. He`ll probably drive up there himself to crucify them. My grandparents had a farm near Onondaga, i remember as a child. Are these the ones being advertised for $339.00 in S.G.N. ?

Karma has a way of dealing with fucking nazi socialists. Roza died at 20 , caught in a mortar barrage and fatally wounded. She was credited with taking 59 nazi`s with her. The top female sniper who survived the war was credited with 502 kills.

Anybody have any of the green can military rifle grease that they are willing to part with ? I`ve sworn by it for 40 years now to protect my firearms from Florida`s humidity. Down to my last can. I don`t pickle my stuff, just a light coating inside & out. Never know when they will be needed.

Looks like a 1900 or 1901 that laid out over the winter along side it`s former owner. Sometimes, when a receiver is badly pitted in one area or side it could be blood pitting. How`s the bore ? Stock & sling hangers look legit to me.

Kroil penetrating oil & Bronze wool. Just let it soak into the rust for a few days. The bronze wool will take off a lot without damaging the bluing. Kroil works good in rusted bores too.

I remember Remington 7.62x39 having small primer pockets years ago. Maybe he meant using a small pistol primer in leu of a small rifle primer. ???

Re: US Surplus Remington RA 5468 30 Carbine Ammo
I have had very few failures to fire with corrosive primers. There was some Ecuadoran 8mm Mauser that had an occasional dud, but that's pretty much it. I once shot some 1907 production .30-40 by accident, it got mixed in with the new production Winchester I was shooting in the Krag, I never noticed...
