The Russian Mosin Nagant Forum

Very nice! Some may say its rough and not like it. But it shows how they expedited the war time need for rifles. Put it next to a rifle from the 1930s and you can see the beautiful differences. Shoots just the same.

Great price! Someone correct me if i am wrong, but Sestroryetsk rifles were only M91 models as the factory closed durring WW1.

I will give you $300 for it, care to double your money? lol

wow never knew one existed. that is an awesome find!

i was tempted to buy one. i got into mosins very late and never got one for under $200. if i had not just bought something else i would have been tempted.

the last batch they had a few weeks ago was strange. they had pinned sights as part of some law in ukrane

how can you tell a fox receiver?

thanks for sharing!

the sight is unique.

new reproduction mags are available. they are great 22 rifles.

thanks for sharing, awesome collection!

on a side note, one day i hope to see St. Petersburg Cavalry carbine with the correct bayonet on it!

too bad you do not have a video. that would have been awesome!

very nice! would like to find one of those one day!

I have a fascination with these and really wish i can ad one to my collection one day. I read about how they were delivered to the Russian empire during WWI and used in battle. but that is the end of the history about them. what happened to them after the war? were they kept in service by the soviet...

this is why many retailers have no descriptions when they list firearms haha

other sites list as hardwood or laminate, round or hex, etc

i am just surprised a company like classic who is known for selling mosins for years would mess up like that lol

i read it before they took it down. i was wondering if they were serious haha

really sad how i got into surplus firearms so late. interesting how they were selling already converted nagant pistols to 32 S&W. would have rather bought the origional pistol and the cylinder separately if i wanted it. but i guess when there is seemingly no end to supply it really did not matte...

very nice!!! really would like to find a Sestroryetsk for my collection a M91 would be awesome!

for 250 it was not bad, but you did not miss on anything great. personally i am not a fan of the rough war time rush receivers. but that is just me.

nice find! really wish i could find one of those some day

i am still wondering where all the chinese M44 went. they must have made them in larger numbers than the russian M44 models.

https://www.gunpartscorp.com/Sell-Your-Parts.htm anyone ever use them to sell parts to? i have two old bolt action shotguns that i really do not know what to do with. wondering how much they would give me. i bought them thinking i was getting an awesome deal only to find that sears recalled them. i...
