This is what is happening when you try to extract a round.....It seems to function ok with the exception of this issue (Extracted round comes back with the bolt)

Found this proof on both the bolt and sight leaf which indicated pre 28

Nice 1940 Tikka M91. All I seem to be able to find are 1942s. I have 3 of them. :) They must have made a ton of them as I had 6 at one time!! What kind of pics would you like?

Looks like the receiver and bolt match but the magazine does not.

14106 - Receiver and Bolt
8133 - Magazine

On the stock there were some faint circular markings.Missing the cleaning rod but that was it.

Was also counterbored at one point.

Is there such a thing as a Finn sniper as far as the mosin types that are available on the market?

I have a friend who has a early 40's m39 which is a civil guard rifle. He said it's seen some use but wanted 250.00 for it.....Is it worth pursuing?
