Yes it is the same frame and grip. I never liked the looks of those grips. Now that I've shot with these I wouldn't want anything else on this pistol.

Re: Old single shot
Mike, these were made from 1909 till1923. They started at # 4619 in 1909 and went to11641 in 1923. The # on mine puts it about 1/2 way. I will have to use a magnifying glass to adjust the windage a wee bit but it groups well. Should be lots of fun
when I get the sight set.

Old single shot
Well this old pistol is neither modern nor military. I bought this sat at the a collectors show. Largest bunch of old lever action
rifles I've ever seen at one time. This one is a s and w third model perfected in 22lr. This one has a 10in barrel. The action on it is near new. +dhic

High standard 22
I traded for this little 4in 22auto last Sat. It's a Hi-Standard Model H-D Military. The serial # puts it made about the year I was born. I think this is the # for the pistol is.176xxx. I'll try a couple of pictures. I've always liked exposed hammer on these H-D models.

308 CZ rifle
This is a CZ I bought several years ago. I put a new set of c-z mounts and a new Burris scope on it took it to the range. Long story is the scope was a piece of crap. Sent it back but no help. They said my barrel was bent and don't turn the adjustments over 4 clicks. Well I put a nearly new Nikon sc...

Here is a pic of my 8mo great grandson, Thomas. I think he likes his present. Thomas became one of the newest Texans
yesterday. The grandkids left San Jose and moved to Dallas yesterday. Now they are only 4 1/2 hours from us.

You did good. That old Smith ought to run 100 years. You'll love shooting 148 wadcutters in it.

New 41 mag
My luck changed for the better Sat. My last month has been pretty bad. Trip to ER in Dec for slow heartbeat, 9 # rock through my windshield on the 15th. Almost took my head off. My luck changed at the gun show Sat. I sold a mis-matched 95 7mm. I traded off my44 bulldog + cash for this old mod 57 S&a...

Tom, Wanamacher's is billed as the largest gun show in the country. Dealers from Washinton to Flordia. It would be worth your time to see this one.

steelbuttplate, here is a poor pic of the 32 rounds that I own revolvers chambered for. The short one is 32 s&w. The next one is the 32 s&w long. Next one is a 32 H&R mag. The tallest one is the 32 WCF or 32-20.

My latest 32-20
I've wanted a S&W 32-20 to go with my Colt. I found this 1905 4th change at a gun show Sat. It's a 32-20 with a 6 in barrel. It's in the best shape of any I've ran on to that I could afford. Here are my old time revolvers in an old time caliber. Hdhic aka cliff image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg i...

Remington mod 12cs peep sight.
I bought an old Rem 22 special a couple of weeks ago. I fit a new firing pin and an extractor spring, think it's ready for the range now. I think this one will be a very good shooter. I'm looking for a peep sight for it. If any of you have one you want to sell or know where one is let me know. Can't...

Re: Sock drawer S&W
Good looking old s&w. I've got a police positive 6in in 38s&w. I load my own but I load according to what I'm shooting it in. I go easy on the old break top but I'll shoot 38/200s in my pre war British 38/200.
