Re: My little collection
Here are my "starting" rifles. Don't rail on me for scoping the one rifle, just an experiment, and yes I keep all the original parts and didn't drill, tap or otherwise alter the gun! Just got the hex receiver, it's a Tula, 1934. Love the carbine, 1938! These look real good with my 1895 Na...

Berdan to Boxer
Maybe a stupid question (no such thing?), but after shooting corrosive ammo, what if you sent a few boxer primed rounds down the chamber? Do you think it would clear out the salt? Or maybe just help to lessen damage?

Re: Interesting trip to the gun show
I too, was at a gun show last Saturday, they had a line out to the parking lot. Took 20 minutes or so just to get to the door! Never saw one so packed with people. No deals, of course. One guy was selling his Mosin sniper(s) for $800 each. There was plenty of ammo to be had, the prices weren't any b...

Well, got my gauges from from OKI, and checked out my two Mosins. Probably money well spent, looks like they're good to go! Can't wait to fire off some rounds!

Re: No more Mosins?
Just picked up a second one from J & G here in Prescott, paid $119.99 for it also some ammo, with stripper clips 300 rounds for $69.00. Yeah, I know it's corrisive primer stuff.
They don't show Mosins on their website anymore, you have to come in and ask.

Re: 'nother... Went to a gun show today story
We've got a gun show here in Arizona on the 26th of this month, curious to see if they've jacked up the prices on ammo and AR's like they seem to have done elsewhere. Arizona seems to be the "friendliest" gun state there is. Got out of California partly because of all the restrictions, hop...

head space
Just got done cleaning the (most) of cosomline off my, new to me, gun. Was reading a little about headspace, how important is that to be checked on these rifles before shooting?
Not trying to be cheap, but $25.00 for a gauge I may only use once?
Thanks,
Lawrence
