I agree, a very awesome find. Personally, I couldn't leave the rifle in that state. I would have to clean it and give it some TLC. Just because the owner picked it up and then let it go to hell doesn't mean that it has to stay that way. In my mind, I would want to try and preserve what was left of ...

How the hell could a family knowingly let stuff like this go? Seal that rifle up in a shadowbox and hang it on the wall just as it is. Amazing haul! :vcool: :vcool: :vcool: :vcool: :vcool: JYD beat me to it. Keep it as is and keep everything together. That son should have donated all this stuff to ...

Went to a auction yesterday for a lady that had just been put in a nursing home.I went with the specific intention of buying this very very rough Arisaka Model 99 I saw this particular auction on a site that posts local auctions. This rifle was in a mix of 5 more guns being offered couple of pump sho...

Been looking at these for a while. The LGS also sells a ton of them.

The only part that had me concerned was Made in Turkey.

Not huge. But these were the biggest bass I have caught. We just sit on the bank and fish. Worms and bobbers. Too hard to drink beer and do all that complicated fishing stuff. Not as big as blues or flatheads (yellows), and certainly not as big as Wels, but fun. Caught on Liver. This was Tuesday.  :p...

I LOVE IT!!!!!

Not sure where you are, but .22lr is once again plentiful here in NE Mississippi. I can get good quantities of CCI, Winchester, Federal, Aguila, and Remington at any one of several gun shops. .22 WMR is still a bit sparse and pricey. Amazingly, the local Walmart is always sold out of all .22. Price...

I have a liking for the ergonomics of the current breed of Walthers. I so enjoyed my Walther PPX that I got to looking at the P99 AS and decided that I'd like that one as well. I particularly like that it has a decocker, which the PPX does not. So I found a realitively low priced P99 on Gunbroker. ...
