"DE" Deutschland (Germany)! Production year is 2013 (or "BD").

It has the eagle/N proof mark. As well as the German government proof mark (the Ulm "antler").

Re: My New Acquisition!

Thanks Jim and bunkysdad!! Erik, yes we do! We were going to take it out this past Saturday but, we had other commitments that took a wee bit more time than expected so, it ended up being a no-go for some range time. Fintowin, I agree! I have always been a "9mm guy". But, after shooting my...

My New Acquisition!

I haven't posted in awhile ... and since I acquired a new member to my family (a Walther PPQ M2, in .40) ... I thought I would share some pics with you guys! I have no range report yet. I picked this up just this past Wednesday, and I'm going to wait until Mother Nature is a wee bit more considerate...

Re: Question about AK's?

I've considered adding one, but I'll sit and wait till the price bottoms, the 450/550 range would be nice  Guess I'll be waiting a while longer. Yeah, that's what I've been considering. My dad bought his before the hype (or hike as I like to call it) ... and paid only $450 for it. I've ...

Yeah ... that's gunbroker (which this is the first time I've visited in awhile). I grew tired of the ridiculous prices on gunbroker so, I stopped looking, LOL!!!!

Question about AK's?

What is a decent price for an AK? I see WASR's are running anywhere from $700 on up. Is this the new norm? Shoot, AR's are even coming back down in price. Are AK's the new "fad" now?

Re: Lets see your British girls !!

That box of Cordite ammo was probably my favorite last minute gunshow find. Still on his table late on a Sunday and he let me have it for 15 bucks! I won't shoot it, but I sure want to.:P I picked up some cordite ammo 3 years ago ... and fired it before I found out what I had. Now I wish I would ha...

Re: Lets see your British girls !!

I know this is cheesy but, I cannot find where I stored the photos of my one and only Enfield. She's a 1945, No 5 Jungle Carbine. Here is the link of an earlier post I made with pics: http://russian-mosin-nagant-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2492&p=36020#p36020 . I truly need to take some ne...

:big shock: You are brave!! No way I could fire mine let alone take it to the range! Why wouldn't you fire yours? It will impress your "neighbors" there at the range. I absolutely love plinking with mine! I take my 1917 Sestroryetsk too ... along with my 1927 ex-Dragoon. millman, I...

Ah! A fellow 1915 PTG! Although, yours has a smaller number than mine (which is is a wee bit over 222000). I absolutely love my PTG ... it's my favorite to take to the range!

BTW, all of them are very nice!

geosh, welcome to the boards!! As far as buying them, for me . . it's no problem. Now, as far as getting rid of them (not that I would) . . well, that's totally different. Wife: "If you ever get rid of any of your guns, I will divorce you" Me: "no worries there"

Here is my 1 and only. My dad has had this for about 50 years, and recently gave it to me (well, recently as in the last year). It's one of my favorites to shoot. It was produced at Fazakerley in July 1945. http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p146/smacneighill/Jungle%20Carbine/Carbine1.jpg http://i12...
