That's a cool find, congratulations!

That's rough man. After living in Arizona for several years myself, AC is vital. That's not something you can go long without especially in summer. Hope they are able to get that fixed for you ASAP.

I'm really sorry to hear this, how sad. Thank you for letting us know. I'll be keeping his family in my prayers during this difficult time.

Rifle is fine.

As mentioned, using some oil should help get them off easier.

I use to have one of these helmets years ago but ended up selling it. Recently I saw a listing for some and decided to pick one up again.

These were supplied to Finland by Germany and made in the same factory as the other German M40 helmets in WW2. For the cost I believe they're a great buy.

All we got out of the system was a very cold rain. Supposed to be more blowing in off the Pacific this next weekend-maybe. Tornadoes are one part of living in the SE that I don't miss. Don't get me wrong-they can happen out here but they're uncommon. Before we moved back to the east coast we lived ...

We got the worst of it at sunrise this morning. It knocked out power for 12 hours, it was nasty, but no damage here. It did some nasty work in Marianna right next door to the gun shop I have some consignments in. We had a tornado warning, some heavy rain and wind but nothing too bad. The power is s...

The wind and rain is starting to pick up here in NC. Schools were on remote learning today and I just saw my work is closing early, glad I was off today.

You got a great deal on the rifle for $260. Last time I saw 91/30 rifles selling at the gun store they were $400 and more.

I’m sorry that happened to you. I’m glad you’re ok and hopefully the insurance process is quick and easy for you. We use to live in Arizona for 3 years. I had to drive I-10 to work and there were plenty of accidents. I don’t miss driving I-10 at all. The drivers in AZ were pretty bad. Someone totale...

I’m glad to see the forum is back up and running!! I was wondering what happened and if it was gone for good. Thank you for the hard work in getting the forum back up!

Wow that is awesome, now you have me thinking about a display. I collected stamps as a kid for about 8 years, need to find my folders/books as there are some Soviet, East German, Chinese and some other Com Bloc stamps in there. They would go nicely displayed with Com Bloc weapons. Thank you! The go...

Along with military surplus I enjoy collecting WW2 and Cold War era stamps. I saw this first day cover for the 65th Anniversary of the October Revolution and went ahead and purchased it for the collection.

Anyone else here collect stamps?

Years back I bought a hundred Mosin tool sets in the pouches, each set individually sealed in plastic. That was off eBay and they were something like a buck each at the time bought in bulk. That box is someplace in the barn loft, I had bought it with the intention of reselling them on eBay some tim...

Cool, I haven't found a mono-tone ammo pouch yet, all my pouches are the two-tone ones. One of my kits came with at least one WWII era dog collar though. Whenever I get one of the kits, CINC Household asks why do you need another salt and pepper shaker set? The ammo pouch is what stood out to me as...

I saw this Mosin Nagant accessory set and had to get it. Anytime I see these for sale and the price is right it's hard to say no. I really like getting the oilers still wrapped up in cosmoline as well. I showed the ammo pouch to my wife and she said, "Oh wow I've never seen one of those before&...

That's pretty cool
