1936 Izhevsk Refurb Circle 11 Markings?

Hi all, was just wondering if any of you knew what this marking was or what it meant. It is the number 11 inside a circle. This marking is on the barrel right next to the hammer russian crest on my 1936 91/30. Looks almost exactly like the polish circle 11 marking but a little larger than the russia...

Hoping someone can help. I have a Chinese sks but want to know if it is military or not. It has made in china on side of receiver. It has the date of manufacture and the serial number but no Chinese characters or triangle. Also it doesn't say Norinco any place on the rifle. Anybody know how I can te...

Re: 91/30 prices are creeping up

SOG had them in 2weeks ago for 79.99round and 99.99hex. Haven't looked this week, although I did buy 2spam cans of 7.62x54r from AIM for 150+free shipping since I picked it up. -Don

Re: What do you carry (CCW) and how do you load for it

Latley I've been carrying a j-frame with standard 38special. Also carry a G26, G17 and if I really want some back/side pain a 92FS. All loaded with Hornady 9mm hollow point +P, method of carry is ITWB in Stoner leather holsters. -Don

Re: Best 357 to get.

I just bought a 357mag. Ruger SP101 with a 4inch barrel and I love it. Looks great, priced right and built like a tank. I don't think you could go wrong with a Smith or a Ruger. I'm partial to the j-frame for Smith but I don't know if they make 357mag in that frame. Mine are in 38special, I would st...

Re: Another S.O.G. M39, now with pictures

@ The End... That's funny you mention the wife. Mine asked me yesterday as she was coming home from the mall, "Is that a new rifle?" "Umm, well yeh I got it on a trade" while I'm thinking in my head, "A future trade that I am planning at the moment." Hmmmm, this conver...

Yeah I'm glad you did! I may have never looked otherwise. I wonder how many wars that receiver has seen, oh if only it could speak! -Don

Re: 1943 Hex Tula Refurb

Well I had some time so I got it apart and there was a bit of a surprise. Is this receiver really over one HUNDRED years old?!?!? :beek: Don't know if this adds anything to the rifle but I think it is really cool. -Don

Re: What dealer consistantly has the nicest 91/30?

I have bought three mosin nagant rifles and a nagant revolver from S.O.G. And I have been very pleased with the condition. My dad has bought several rifles from them also and he has always been pleased as well. I don't know where you live but if you go there they will let you pick through them as lo...

Re: Nagat Revolvers on Buds....

Got mine from S.O.G. for $99 last year and it is in awesome shape. Ammo is expensive but I have heard you can shoot 32long or 32mag out of them with no issue. I myself have not tried it but it is something to look into.

Re: 1943 Hex Tula Refurb

Thank you all, for the kind words. I got both of these for 99each plus 10 dollar hand pick for Tula at SOG. I live near there so I didn't have to pay for shipping. For 110each I was pretty pleased, plus the 43' has brass on it's handguard. That is kinda cool also. You fellas think this rifle was use...

1943 Hex Tula Refurb

Hi all, I posted this in the new member forum as a 42' Hex. The date was kinda light struck and looked like 42 but when I filled it in with white it was a 43'. Sorry if I misrepresented this rifle, it was not my intention! Here is a photo of the markings: IMG_2189.JPG IMG_2194.JPG IMG_2195.JPG ...
