May still stay with me
02 is the Eastern bloc country code for Hungary and "Circle B" stands for Budapest Arsenal.
But it's true 02 and not 0.2 sorry...
Hello I am not sure if I have correctly identified my new Mosin nagant as a freshman. Think this is a Hungarian M-44 from 1952 but from too little experience to say that for sure rps20190520_232412.jpg rps20190520_231945.jpg rps20190520_230939.jpg rps20190520_234145.jpg Greetings Murmeli
I think I know what the odd marking on the barrel is. Consulting for a second opinion before I comment more........ Great observation Dave, nice to see there are still some rare ones out there. It is believed after the 1956 Hungarian Revolution that the Kossuth Crest was scrubbed from there weapons...
I'm sorry for the late reply from me ... Thank you very much for your help and information. The funny thing is that with me the Kossuth Crest is not above the Ischewsk Arsenal but over the "O" prefix number. Couldn't find anything about it anywhere. Why was that marked differently? rps2019...
Good day In the introduction, the question came up on what the mark is under the year. Can someone identify this? Thanks for Help...rps201...
Think for the help for getting started, I correctly identified it as a Soviet Izhevshevsk of 1943. has not revised any numbers next to the year of manufacture? ? I noticed that the "r" after 1943 was missing I did not find anything about it. Greez from Swiss IMG_20190207_0910...
